The nose is both oakyand perfumed, with a powerful palate of tart black fruit and longimpressive, silky tannins. It evolves nicely on the second day and hasa few years left to set some aside. This is definitely a food wine, andis fantastic with simple steak frites or lamb, from brisket to burgers toboeuf bourguignon.
