Vintage moroccan runner rug - black, blue, orange - Boucherouite - 2.9x7feet / 90x213cm

I selected this runner rug from piles of rugs as I have always loved a dark, moody rug with pops of colors. The background on this one is a light black, with bright blue, beige and orange designs all over it. Love the whole composition with this bold, multiplied X pattern in the center, surrounded with more usual symbols like diamonds and stars, with also 2 cute teapots! The rug is called a boucherouite and is handmade 100%. It is made of wool threads knotted on a cotton base. Despite its rustic look, the rug is an excellent quality and would go to any indoor space. The pile is a low to medium. Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate.
