Vintage moroccan rug - red, blue - Boucherouite - 3.4x7.5feet / 105x230cm

This vintage moroccan rug was a love at first sight! It is so vibrant with its fresh colors over a strawberry red background. The unregular series of diamonds come in black, light blue, orange and pink. If you think that you see what you see in those diamond designs you may be right as the diamond is traditionally a feminine symbol when it comes to berber rugs. The rug is handmade 100%, made of wool and cotton threads knotted on a recycled fabric base. It is an excellent quality and would go to any high traffic indoor space, from your entryway to the bathroom or the kitchen. The pile is a medium. Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate.
