Vintage traditional rug - brown, orange - Taznakht - 3.2x5.5feet / 98x168cm

This small vintage rug was made by a lady weaver from the Taznakht tribe. The composition is quite classic with its main diamond design in the center and series of crosses, diamonds and stars all around. Such a sweet, traditional piece! Background color is a dark brown with faded yellow, gray and orange/red designs + surprising tassels in blue that come from the base made of cotton strings. Naturally dyed with pomegranate peels. The rug is made of wool + cotton. Tight weaving which is typical from the Taznakht tribe. Low pile. Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech.
