Joan Hernandez Pijuan House Lithograph

 Recognized for his works of spare compositions and full fields of color, Joan Hernández Pijuan is one of Spain's  most acclaimed artists. He was a co-founder of Grupo Silex which examined the relationship between primitivism, expressionism, and abstraction. Pijuan depicts abstract forms and shapes that convey mundane scenes and objects like rain clouds, houses, and fruit with a simple expression.   With minimal strokes and pure color, Pijuan elevates the mundane. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Sant Jordi Fine Arts Faculty. His work is in the Museum of Modern art and the Museo Reina Sofia.   This print measures 29" wide x 34" tall
