The extra large Carved Mug is made of brown speckled clay, wheel thrown and carved. It has a clear glaze inside. Sarah Donato is a Brooklyn-based ceramicist first inspired by the light and shadows of the Bay Area she grew up in. Her interest in clay comes from a basic need to play with shapes and forms. Sarah has been living and working in Brooklyn for over ten years. Signe (See-neh) is her Danish middle name.
