The Lot. 601 Tee Shirt is one of Taiga Takahashi’s iconic items. In addition to the classic ivory color, this season’s edition features a “techi (Yeddo Hawthorn) wood” dye. It is typically used as a base dye, before mud dyeing, and involves the boiled extract of techi wood bark found on Amami Oshima Island. The reddish-brown color is something that cannot be replicated with chemical dyes and gives the T-shirt a distinctive, natural appearance. T.T is a unisex brand based in New York and Kyoto. Taiga Takahashi, the founder and designer, underwent an education that merged Japanese culture with Western thought.
