SMALL HILMA IN BROWN LEATHER
An ode to the perfectly imperfect circle, Hilma is a structured bucket bag rising from an elliptical base, a form born of the poise of opposing forces. Hilma takes the shape of an oblate ellipsoid with gradual widening at the top, and features a hand knotted strap, drop pocket with zipper and card slot, and a custom knurled knob brass pull release closure. Named to honor Hilma af Klint and her legendary abstract cycle known as Paintings for the Temple. There is indeed a transcendent reality beyond the observable world. The Lindquist studio is located in Philipsdale Landing in East Providence, a lovingly-restored industrial workspace with soaring double-height ceilings and views of the Seekonk River. There, Lundquist manufactures leather goods entirely in-house. 100% vegetable tanned milled pebble grain leather. Made in Rhode Island.
