96" Black Tension Bar For Chain Link Fences

The 96" Black Tension Bar is an essential piece used in making 8' chain link fences. Despite appearing to be little more than a narrow slat of material, it is this bar (combined with separately told tension bands) that provide chain link fabric the tension needed to form a strong, impervious barrier. Without tautness, your fabric will sag at points, allowing animals and people to crawl through. After setting up your terminal posts, top rails, and line posts, unroll your chain link fabric. Stand one end of it against a terminal post. Slide the 96" Black Tension Bar downward through the end "knuckles" of the fabric as well as through the above mentioned tension bands. Repeat the process using the opposite end of the fabric after situating it at another terminal post. This tension bar is black in color and made of rust resistant material.
