This painting was inspired by the Spring flowers that I'm noticing pop up around my neighborhood.  The title comes from a poem by Wendell Berry.  The following is an excerpt from 'Fear of Love.'  We stand as in an open field, blossom, leaf, and stem, rooted and shaken in our day, heads nodding in the wind.
