Cosmic Abalone “Large with stand”

Supported by a custom welded steer stand this large cast glass “Cosmic Abalone” shows off its colors and transparency. The dichroic glass is like magic and changes colors through the day and as the viewer moves by. A record size abalone measuring 10 inches was collected over a decade ago in California and with my series of mold techniques I am able to capture all the details of the shell and add some of my attributes as an artist.  Hand made of cast glass and dichroic glass in the low carbon hydroelectric powered studio of Jeremy Sinkus in western Massachusetts  Abalone measures 7.5 x 10 inches total height of the sculpture with stand is 13 x 8 inches signed  dated  Ships in 7-10 days
