Workshirt in Black Crinkled Cotton

This piece is one of my earliest designs, based on one of my father’s old oxford shirts. When I was around 20, I took one of his shirts, I trimmed the bottom and changed the sleeves, reworked the collar so that I could wear it - and then I found myself living in it. Years later, when I started jess brown pieces, it was one of the first patterns I had created for the line. My workshirt has a traditional men’s shirt look with a slightly oversized feel and a slightly shortened sleeve length; it comes in the softest, most wearable fabrics that get better with age.
