Jura Impressa and ENA Brew Group Encoder The encoder controls the movement of the brew group in all Jura espresso machines. It connects to the brass stem on the brew drive gear motor and is secured via clamp. The encoder failure results in ERROR 8. Before replacing the encoder, please rebuild the brew group, and check the brew group gear motor. Encoder is a RARELY replaced item.
