Tribal Brass & Cowrie Shell Drop Earrings

Brass and Cowrie Shell Linear Earrings from Nairobi, Kenya.  These earrings are handmade by independent tribal designers in Nairobi, Kenya. These earrings are approximately 0.5 inches wide and approximately 3 inches long. The backs of the shells are shaved off to give the earrings a lighter feeling during everyday wear. The last photo shows a close up of the stamped brass design. Cowrie Shells are real cowrie shells and may differ from each other in size, color and texture.
