The Gus style hat is in my opinion one of the most flattering hats to wear – even for people who say they don’t look good in hats. This oak-colored Gus palm is made in Guatemala. The palm leaf braid has 7 strands per inch. It features a decorative faux black leather hatband. The highest point of the crown is 5 1/4”. The brim has a slight pencil roll and is 4”.  The built-in sweatband is a canvas type of fabric that is very comfortable. These hats are of the best quality. They have been certified by an independent labratory with the highest UV sunlight protective rating of UPF 50. Palm leaf hats are about the toughest hats you’ll find.  And they hold up in the rain.  In addition, they are very comfortable to wear.
