Quartz Druzy Post Earrings

These earrings were designed and handmade in our home studio just outside of Seattle, WA. Each piece starts with a high quality gemstone to which a bail is added. A copper bezel is then electroformed around the stone to create a durable bond between metal and stone elements. The entire piece is then sent out to be further plated in rose gold at a thickness ten times the industry standard. This results in an heirloom quality piece that can be enjoyed for years to come with proper care. All of our post earrings are fitted with solid Sterling Silver posts. Our earring backs are surgical steel surrounded by a plastic disc, perfect for securing your earrings and supporting them against your earlobe.  We use only nickel free components in all of our jewelry. If they become tarnished, we recommend a soft polishing cloth. Druzy is tiny mineral crystals that form on the surface of another stone. Quartz is the most common stone to form druzy, but not the only stone to grow in this sparkly format
