The fluid forms portray movement and are fitted closely with a square center.  Pavy thinks of this pattern illustrating the Xylem cells that transport water in a tree trunk. Original Painted Pattern: The cells are painted in hues of phthalo green on green earth, and outlined in shades of yellow ocher.
