A large-scale pattern replete with elongated rippling cell-like imagery. The fluid forms portray movement and are fitted closely with a square center.  Pavy thinks of this pattern illustrating the Xylem cells that transport water in a tree trunk. Original Painted Pattern: The cells are painted in hues of white on cream, outlined in ultramarine blue and phthalo turquoise. The underpainting is crimson.
