Add your initial to our Keepsake Plate in our Lucinda Font named after my maternal grandmother, Lucinda, and inspired by a rare vintage floral embroidery font from France. Lucinda's entire career revolved around sewing and textiles. For years, Lucinda worked with her sisters at Eleanor Beard (now known as leontine linens) as a finisher; a role entrusted with making sure each and every creation was perfect. She had an entire room in her small house dedicated to sewing and I vividly remember playing with her thimble and buttons as a little girl. Lucinda was an incredibly gifted quilter and embroidery artist - winning multiple county wide competitions and even a state-wide competition for her "crazy quilt" that my Aunt inherited and still has!
