Lightweight Raincoats

Our lightweight raincoat is made with 2-ply Ultrex fabric, plus a mesh lining.  Ultrex is Supplex with a micro-porus coating that is windproof, durable and absolutely WATERPROOF.  The raincoat is built with an attached snood (snood is black) for those windy or rainy days when neck and head protection is a must.  We selected this style of raincoat for Greyhounds because it is breathable; dogs won't sweat in it on rainy days, yet they'll stay dry.  It's also the perfect jacket for spring and fall to protect them from biting winds and rain.  The mesh lining allows air to circulate while keeping wind out.  The snood can be pushed back a bit.  The raincoat has a narrow opening at the seam on the back of the neck where the snood meets the main color of the raincoat to bring the leash through.  If the dog prefers to wear the snood back behind the ears, the leash can be fed through the snood and come out the top instead.
