Oil Painting by Anton Langdon

Anton Langdon (New Jersey, born 1943) is an 82-year-old artist who spent his life creating a remarkable cache of work. His art remained entirely unseen by the public until he was placed in assisted living in 2024. During his tenure as a university art professor in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Langdon created a collection of wood assemblages inspired by Louise Nevelson and a series of paintings inspired by Mark Rothko.
