Lanolin Balm
Pure lanolin from New Zealand that I sourced instead of made. I don't own a sheep. I'd like to! But, alas. But, I do have very dry skin and have struggled to find something that has no scent, is reasonably priced, travels well, doesn't leave a wet texture on my skin that transfers to my clothes, and actually works. I found Burt's Bees Radiance eye cream but that was discontinued. Then I used Neosporin Eczema cream but that was discontinued. Several events came together that made me realize sheep, who produce such beautiful wool fiber, also produce lanolin, often used as a nipple cream because it is safe and natural enough even for babies to ingest. Lanolin comes from domestic sheep breeds that are raised specifically for their wool. Clothing is made less and less from wool and is creating a difficult situation for sheep farmers and the future of these beautiful animals. I don't eat them so anything I can do to support the long, lovely life of a sheep, I am here to do. *Lanolin oil is
