plantProduct Description: Micranthemum callitrichoides 'HC' Qty: 1 3X5 Mat Dwarf Baby Tears, Micranthemum callitrichoides 'Cuba' is very popular as a foreground plant in the aquarium trade.  Until very recently, this plant was known as Hemianthus callitrichoides, but a revision of the genus has brought us a new name to remember! All the plants we previously called Hemianthus have been moved back into Micranthemum. Micranthemum callitrichoides 'Cuba' has very small leaves and grows in a spreading fashion making it one of the shortest options for a foreground plant.  For optimal growth from Dwarf Baby's Tears, as it is sometimes referred to, use highlighting and CO2 injections.  However, this plant is probably the best carpet plant for a non-CO2 tank, as long as there is a nutritious (soil based) substrate and good aquarium care.
