The 1926 New York Yankees won the American League with a 91-63 record and finished three games ahead of the Cleveland Indians. In what would be a seven-game series, the Yankees lost to the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. The series will be best remembered for ending with Babe Ruth being caught stealing second base in the deciding game as the Cardinals held on to the 3-2 victory. Offered here is an Official American League Ban Johnson stamped baseball that has 25 signatures not only from the 1926 American League Champion Yankees, but also from members of the 1926 Brooklyn Robins (the precursor to the Dodgers). The sweet spot Hall of this ball has the signatures of Famers Babe Ruth and Dazzy Vance (Brooklyn) in black pen.
