Think of the Preston as a grown-up, ladylike take on a school uniform skirt. It’s fully lined with a hem that hits right above the knee (or right below it, depending on your height.) It’s finished with a zip-closure at the back and a pretty, single pleat detail. The fabric is the real star here… a seasonless stretch wool made in an Italian mill that’s been in business for nearly 200 years. (We actually call this mechanical stretch — it’s technically 100% wool, specially woven and finished to provide “give” and movement without containing any Lycra.)
