Metok Chulen della Dolomiti - Flower Chulen of the Dolomites

Of the various types of Chulen made and used in Tibetan Buddhist practice, Metok, or Flower Essence Chulen are the most famous. Metok Chulen are made from fresh, preferably high-altitude flowers in full bloom. The best are collected from beautiful, sacred places, far from human habitation, and combined with herbs and holy relics to form a spiritual tonic renowned throughout the Himalayan world. It was thoughts like this that moved us to collect more than 30 types of healthy, beautiful flowers growing in the high mountain meadows surrounding the peaks of the Dolomites in Northern Italy during the summer of 2017. We were on our way to a special cave high in the mountains when the sight of hundreds of acres of wildflowers inspired this project. With the help of a local expert, we were even able to identify several flowers which also grow in Tibet, making this formula even more magical.
