This pattern recalls the mountains of California’s Coast, and the Pacific ocean waves, as they crash on the seashore, and all the beauty and bounty that the Pacific coast represents.  Knit in the round from the bottom up, it includes a minimal amount of colorwork, ideal for a new knitter who wants to know what this technique is about before venturing into bigger colorwork projects. It also includes an elegant slipped stitch pattern, reminiscent of the ocean waves, that is super easy to work and remember (hello TV knitting). It is recommended to use two yarns with high contrast to get the best out of the pattern.
