Winemaker Notes Alamos Malbec offers layers of dark cherry and blackberry and a velvety mouthfeel. Aromas of violet intertwine with spice and vanilla, while balanced tannins create a velvety mouthfeel and expansive finish. This Malbec delivers a complex fine red wine that pairs beautifully with a wide range of cuisine and goes beyond the expected. Critical Acclaim JS91 James Suckling Fresh-plum, blackberry and black-tea aromas. It’s medium-bodied with firm, powdery tannins and a flavorful, creamy finish. RP90 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate Maybe it was me, but I find the 2020 Malbec to be really excellent, with ripe Malbec fruit, notes of violets and berries and a spicy twist. The palate is round and juicy, nicely textured, with plush tannins and a long finish. Delicious, and a bargain at that price. Rating: 90+
