Guatemala, Don Angel, Renardo Ovalle

Although we've purchased many coffees from Renardo Ovalle, this was one of the most unique tasting coffees that he offered us this year. On the cupping table there were distinct notes of cardamom, orange, papaya, with a floral aftertaste and lingering brown-sugar sweetness. There are three different varieties planted on this smaller lot, with Bourbon making up the largest portion.
