Dark French Roast

French roast is a common term among roast masters, used to describe a particular degree of roast color, and does not mean coffee from France.  Any coffee or combination of coffees from different countries of origin can be used to create a ‘french roast’. Many roasters use inferior coffee beans because the dark roast can mask defects. However, we are committed to using only the highest-quality beans available, no matter the roast's color. Here, organic and fair-trade coffees from South and Central America are used to create a rich coffee with a subtle chocolate taste.
