Join Sarah and learn to sew with knit fabric and make your own basic tee - perfect on its own or as a layer in your me-made wardrobe. Students will make either the Lark Tee from Grainline Studio or the Concord T-Shirt from Cashmerette, both of which offer multiple sleeve and neckline options. This class is designed for sewers who have made a garment before, but not necessarily sewn with knits. To be successful in this class and to be able to repeat the process at home, you should know how to read a pattern and its instructions and how to lay out your fabric for cutting, including understanding the concept of the right and wrong sides of the fabric. Of course, students must be proficient using a sewing machine, including how to change settings and set up your machine for sewing. Students may use a Serger for this class only if
