This tree in 8' and 10' heights are delivered via freight standing straight up to either residential or commercial addresses. This tree in 12' or taller heights are delivered via freight and can only be delivered to a commercial address. These trees are very expensive to ship so we will contact you with an estimated shipping cost before building them. The trees are shipped laying down flat on top of sawhorses that are securely screwed to the floor of the truck. The sawhorses and tree must be removed on site by the customer which usually requires only a screw gun. We also recommend purchasing these trees in even numbers as there is a substantial online discount when buying more than one, and because shipping costs don't increase much as we can usually stack 2 trees on top of each other. Certain topical finishes create an oily film on the surface of leaves and flowers. Our gorgeous and completely safe inherit fire retardant (IFR) silk plants and flowers do not drip or produce the slightest mess at all. Our IFR items meet all the required criteria for either the National Fire Prevention Association 701 test or the ASTM E84-95 Standard Test Methods for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials. So, if you are researching your options for indoor or outdoor silk plants that aren't a fire hazard, our IFR creations are not only the safest, made with great attention to detail and care but also have a realism that is timeless. Upon your request after your purchase we can provide the following certificates based on the product materials: ASTM E84 for all item SCU's starting with PR, NFPA701 for all item SCU's starting with AR. We do not have certifications for any other SCU's or any item marked as PVC. Please inquire with your Fire Marshall for PVC usage as it's never been an issue before as PVC is already a fire retardant material. NON-DECORATIVE POT: This item includes a non-decorative weighted pot that is designed to fit into an appropriately sized planter. You can still display this item as shown, but most customers will want to place this non-decorative pot inside a larger decorative planter. We get asked frequently for the dimensions of these pots but honestly it doesn't matter, so long as you choose an appropriately sized planter for the size of the item. For example: a 6' tall tree usually has a 6-7" non-decorative pot, or a 7-9' tall tree will usually have at most a 10-12" non-decorative pot. In both instances the minimum decorative planter size needed would be much larger than the non-decorative pots they come with.
