Bausch & Lomb Antique Brass Microscope (77796)

This is a good quality Bausch & Lomb antique microscope with a number of unique features, including a turnwheel on the top of the spin and a hole from grip built into the spine. The bottom of the base features the serial number (77796) and the mark of the Arthur H. Thomas Company, a scientific supply company. The serial number suggests a production date of the late 1900s (c. 1907 or so). Further, the bottom of the base suggests it was used at a Veterinary School.
