Change ~ Hagalz Rune

The image side of this Rune shows A solid band which divides parallel lines on the bottom, and dotted lines on the top. The solid bar represents the moment of change, the action the assists one state into transformation of another.  The Symbol side of this piece shows the Hagalz rune, which comes from Old Norse “Hagall” which translates roughly to “hail” or “hailstone.” This rune is traditionally associated with disruption and transformation. It represents the hailstorm that can damage crops, but also the remaining ice pellets which can nourish the soil and prepare it for the next cycle of growth. This rune is linked to the Norns, the Norse wise women of fate. In this context, Hagalaz can symbolize the inevitable changes that life brings, and the need to adapt and grow with these changes.
