"It is not so dreadful here" Pomegranate Block Print; Red on Cream

This design was created for the Deities & The Divine show held by Third Sanctum Gallery in The Veiled Crow during April of 2024. It is inspired by my beloved Goddess Persephone. The title of this piece is a quote from Edna St. Vincent Millay's poem Prayer to Persephone. - I hand drew and carved the design into a linoleum block over the course of a few months. - Every piece is hand printed on cream colored acid free cardstock paper using bold Speedball inks for a rich, satiny finish. - Each print is signed at the bottom. - Prints measure 5"x7" and are packaged in acid free plastic sleeves with a cardboard backing. They are placed in rigid cardboard mailers with "Do not bend" stickers for shipping. If bought with other items it will be placed in a thick bubble mailer. Every print is individually printed by hand. Though I strive to apply the ink and pressure as evenly as I can, some may have small blemishes or markings because they're handmade. This makes each an individual work of art, whichever you get will be unlike any other! Photos in the listing are examples of past prints, the one you receive may have minor differences.
