Sterling Shell Fossil Necklace Round

Handcrafted with .925 sterling silver; a one of a kind fossilized shell cabochon set in silver bezel and wrapped in hefty beaded wire. The back of the pendant has been hammered with texture and a .925 sterling charm has been soldered on. The pendant has a nice thick 20 gauge silver backing with nice weight to it. The entire pendant including the bail measures about 38mm long x 32mm wide. Hangs from a 22" silver plated steel rollo chain with sterling jump rings and a lobster clasp enclosure. The silver pendant was given a gloomy black patina before being polished to accentuate the textures of the metal. A protective microcrystalline wax coating has been applied to protect the patina.
