Cold Connections: Riveting. April 4 from 9:30-5:30
Open up a whole new world of jewelry design and fabrication by learning how to connect metal without soldering! The beauty of riveting (aka "cold connections") is that you do not need a torch or solder to connect metal, and this technique can be easily done at home with minimal tools. You will learn how to hand make rivets with brass, copper, and bronze wire. Each student will leave with a riveted skinny cuff bracelet and a pair of articulating riveted silver earrings.
