A Nesting Shapes Puzzle Clasp is a 2-part interlocking clasp characterized by 2 frame pieces that have components added to them, so they fit snugly together, one inside the other, and when taken apart, are each on one end of a chain that connects them. They securely interlock when fitted together so they can’t be easily taken apart. As part of the process of creating this clasp participants will learn how to: In this workshop students will learn about: Understand the way the components fit together and work through the process ofcreating a design for this unique kind of clasp. Shape and form two nesting frame portions. Create layers for the bottoms, insides and tops of the frames by piercing/sawing and texturing or developing imagery on silver or brass sheet to create dimensionalshadowbox effects. Select components like stone settings or other design elements that can beincorporated into or added to the inner frame to create tension that locks the twoframes together. Add structures/co
