Now granted it was all spelled out for me, and almost like cheating, but the memory of him teaching me, and it being something we did together, made it fun, and a fond memory. He even made a beautiful Alice and Wonderland chess board himself, and bought the Alice in Wonderland pewter chess pieces. Hence the inspiration behind this sock design.
