
Antonyms Lesson Plan
This Antonyms Teach-Its® unit includes a rigorous, fun, and engaging lesson to help you teach this skill to your students. This unit includes: ☞ a Scripted Standards-Based Lesson Plan that includes Learning Targets, Materials, Standards, and a scripted lesson plan to help you effectively teach about what antonyms are and how antonyms are used. ☞ a Whole Group Active Engagement Activity to engage and excite your students to help them learn about antonyms. You will engage your students defining what an antonym is and conduct a read-aloud of the book Stop and Go, Yes and No by Brian Cleary (not included) or another book on antonyms. ☞ a Guided Practice Activity where the students will create a large circle on your carpet area and play a game of I have, Who Has with antonyms.
