Synonym, Antonym & Homophone Craftivity

Worksheets Be GONE! Are you tired of giving your students worksheets to practice applying their knowledge of Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homophones? Do you want them to APPLY their knowledge, have fun, and finish off with a great bulletin board display when they are done? Then this unit is for you! Included in this unit is: 3 Craftivities that include writing for Synonyms, Antonyms, and Homophones. Homophones - Students will make a large pear craft with the title Homophone "Pairs" and they will write about 4 different homophone pairs and create a sentence using each homophone to show their understanding of each homophone. Synonyms - Students will make a large sack craft with the title A Sack of Synonyms and they will write down synonym pairs, write them in sentences, or find the definition in the dictionary. Antonyms - Students will make a large arrow craft with the title Antonyms are Opposites and they will write 4 antonym pairs, illustrate their words, and use both antonyms in a cohesive sentence.  Let's have our students APPLY their knowledge of these grammar skills instead of filling in worksheets!
