China Keemun Black Tea
This China black tea is produced in the Anhui province in Qimen (Keemun) County. Located in eastern China, in the southern part of the province, this Keemun tea has medium, slender black leaves that yield a full-bodied tea with a flowery bouquet. Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes. Green Beans with Garlic and Tea1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed2 cloves of garlic, minced2 tbsp. Keemun tea leaves, brewed in two cups of water Steam green beans in water. While beans are steaming, saut‚ minced garlic in one tsp. of canola oil until opaque. Add brewed tea and simmer with garlic for a few minutes. Remove beans from steamer and put in a large bowl. Pour tea marinade over drained beans. Garnish with toasted almond slices, as desired.
