✧ Quilt ✧ Purple Patchwork

I told my daughter I couldn’t wait to come across some quilts. One day she made a request to go thrifting at a VERY specific secondhand shop and what did I see as soon as I walked in?…. A stack of stunning, handmade, seemingly unused. The elder I bought them from wasn’t able to answer any questions about the maker so it leaves my mind wandering about the hands that created them. Thank my daughter for these beauties! A precious heirloom quilt to keep in your family for generations. Easily the most unique color way I’ve ever seen on a quilt. Who remembers my collection Smokestack Lightnin’?? Exact same colorway as this one of a kind quilt!  Lots of texture, including corduroy, on the patchy side and a beautiful paisley flannel on the back side. It’s medium weight and exceptionally well made.
