Azorella trifurcata ‘Nana’

A favorite groundcover among some gardners. Azorella trifurcata is native to Chile and Argentina, including the Falkland Islands and Tierra del Fuego. Here are a few reasons why one should grow this plant. Plus, it is hardy to zone 4. It does require excellent drainage like in a rockery.  It’s an evergreen groundcover. It’s deer resistant. It has lovely yellow flowers from late spring to early summer. It tolerates moderate foot traffic. It’s easy to grow and maintain in nursery production and in the garden. It’s drought tolerant.
