Rich violet-blue flowers are just a tad more blue than the other R. augustinii hybrids, making this one in demand by purple flower lovers. The plants stays compact, and will have attractive, shiny-green leaves in spring and summer, and go to bronze in the winter. From the Weston Nursery, and is a 1981 cross of R. 'Starry Night' x R. 'Waltham'. Blue Baron is one of our most requested plants. No matter how many we grow, we can't seem to keep them in stock!
