Floating Feathers Collection: Paris Street, Rainy Day

“Let’s make something,” I suggested to Wood Duck, “How about Paris Street, Rainy Day?" “That’s a fine painting,” he said, “But Paris is an ocean away. And my feathers are too brilliant to tone down to gray. And the storm already passed, there’s not a drop left to fall. I just don’t see how this could work at all."  “Paris in the Rain doesn’t have to be in Paris, or gray, or even in the rain.” I said, setting my exposure.  Wood Duck raised his brow skeptically, looking quite unsure. “It’s all about the light reflecting off the quotidian”, I assured him. “Just stroll through the lake.” Photographed November, 2022
