We wanted to design a simple colorwork, neck down sweater and we did it. We like the muted rainbow colors so went for that theme. The name comes from the ridge of Mountains along the Northeast Shore of Lake Superior. They aren’t really mountains anymore, but before the glaciers they were higher than the Himalayas. The bottom edge of the colorwork inspired the name. Sizing 32, 40, 50 inches around chestTo achieve sizes in between, you can change the gauge by changing needle size or weight of yarn. YarnAny worsted weight yarnMC: 707, 1023 1282 yardsContrast Colors – For Largest size in ouncesRed = .71 ozsOrange= 1.0 ozsYellow = 1.52 ozsGreen = .60 ozsBlue = .95 ozsPurple = .25ozs Gauge5 sts. to 1” in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork Needles 32” Circular – Size 6Double Pointed – Size 616” and 32” Circular – Size 7
