Maranello F136
In 1939, this automotive brand started as a race division for Alfa Romeo and officially recognized as an independent car manufacturer in 1947, with the inception of their first badged car. Known for gorgeous Italian styling and great success in motorsport, this Maranello based automotive brand needed to be celebrated. We decided to create a timepiece that evoked Italian flair with eye catching colors and a design language inspired from the dial instruments of this brand’s modern sports cars of this decade. At first glance, beneath the flat sapphire crystal glass is a single layer flat yellow dial featuring grey and red hour and minute markers with a date function placed to the right of the 3 hour mark. The red zone in the top left side of the watch indicating the redline of the engine. The black ¾ circle in the middle of the dial is similar to the dial instruments from the sports cars and helps provide depth to the yellow dial. The hour and minute hands feature a luminescent feature that is charged by direct sunlight so that you can time even when the sun goes down. The timepiece is powered by a 21- jewel Japanese Miyota automatic movement with a stainless steel case back with a stamped Six Speed Dials logo. To finish off, the timepiece can be paired with our exclusive Rolls Royce™ leather strap handmade in the U.S.A or with our stitched rubber silicone strap for a sportier look.
