Black Crows’ Atris DEMO Ski returns unchanged from the 2023 model aside from an updated graphic. Advanced and expert skiers will be delighted to know that the Atris’ playfulness, aggression, and versatility continue into the new year. Known as one of the benchmark skis in a competitive big mountain field, the Atris clocks in at a burly but nimble 105mm in the waist. Its twin-tip shape is maneuverable while its wide waist is both surfy and quick—giving the Atris an excellent balance between all-mountain precision and big mountain chops. Poplar wood and fiberglass laminates work from the inside-out to offer suppleness and stability from groomers to powder. Though it’s on the heavier end of the ski weight spectrum, the Atris remains nimble and can be easily spun, pressed, and played with in the park and beyond. It’s energetic and grippy, surfy and controlled—there is little the Atris cannot do.
