2024 Kastle MX 83 Skis

The Kastle MX 83 Skis are a great all mountain carving ski that all about precision, great edge hold and world class craftsmanship. At 83-millimeters underfoot, they have the ability to make some of the cleanest turns out there. These skis are on the wide side for front side and on the narrow end of all-mountain, so they do a fantastic job at blurring the intended use of the ski. The build is on the simpler side, but the way they do it places the Kastle-branded skis in a class of their own. The central part of the ski consists of beech stringers while the outer portions are poplar. By keeping the stringers of the wood on the thinner side of the spectrum, the Kastle ski designers are able to keep the ski balanced, poised, and damp, much more so than with blockier wood cores. The flex is on the stiffer side, and the skis are dense, as they add to that wood core two sheets of metal and two layers of fiberglass. Hollowtech in the tips keeps unwanted vibrations and chatter to a minimum.
